2. Information We Do Not Collect

VideoFlow Publisher does not request or store TikTok account passwords.

We do not use TikTok usernames and passwords to connect accounts.

We do not collect private TikTok messages, contacts, follower lists, payment details, or unrelated TikTok account information unless separately disclosed, required for an approved feature, and explicitly authorized by the user.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate users of VideoFlow Publisher.
  • Connect TikTok accounts through TikTok's official OAuth authorization process.
  • Display connected TikTok account information.
  • Help users confirm the account selected for publication.
  • Upload and manage user-selected video content.
  • Create and process publishing tasks.
  • Schedule content publication.
  • Submit user-confirmed publishing requests.
  • Track publishing progress and results.
  • Refresh OAuth authorization tokens.
  • Detect and diagnose technical errors.
  • Maintain platform security.

  • Comply with legal obligations and applicable platform requirements.

4. TikTok OAuth Authorization

TikTok accounts are connected through TikTok's official OAuth authorization process.

Users review and approve the requested permissions on TikTok's authorization interface. VideoFlow Publisher only receives permissions that the user has explicitly approved.

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are used only to perform authorized functions requested by the connected account owner or an authorized account manager.

5. Token Security

TikTok access tokens and refresh tokens are stored using appropriate security controls, including encryption where supported by the deployed system.

Tokens are not intentionally exposed in public pages, browser logs, application logs, or user-facing error messages.

Access to sensitive authorization information is restricted to authorized system components and personnel who require access to operate and secure the service.

6. How We Share Information

VideoFlow Publisher does not sell personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers when necessary to operate the platform, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers.
  • Database providers.
  • File storage providers.
  • Security and monitoring providers.
  • Email service providers.
  • TikTok and TikTok API services.

Service providers are only permitted to process information as necessary to provide their services.

  • The email address associated with the VideoFlow Publisher account.
  • The display name of the connected TikTok account.
  • A clear statement requesting deletion of the associated data.

We may request additional information to verify the identity and authority of the requester.

Verified deletion requests will normally be processed within 30 days, except where continued retention is required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

11. Children's Privacy

VideoFlow Publisher is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law or TikTok's terms and policies.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the TikTok integration.

12. International Data Processing

Depending on the hosting and service providers used, information may be processed in countries other than the user's country of residence.

Where required, reasonable measures will be used to protect information during international processing.

13. Third-Party Services

VideoFlow Publisher integrates with third-party platforms, including TikTok.

TikTok's processing of information is governed by TikTok's own terms, policies, and privacy practices. VideoFlow Publisher is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services.

No advertising or behavioral tracking cookies are required for core platform functionality.
