TikTok Integration

VideoFlow Publisher integrates with TikTok's official APIs to help authorized users manage and publish original short-form video content.

1. TikTok Account Connection

Users connect their own TikTok accounts through TikTok's official OAuth authorization process.

The authorization process takes place on TikTok's interface. Users can review the requested permissions before granting access.

VideoFlow Publisher does not request or store TikTok account passwords.

2. Authorized Account Information

After authorization, VideoFlow Publisher may display approved basic account information, such as:

• TikTok display name.
• TikTok profile image.
• Account connection status.

This information helps users confirm which TikTok account is selected before publishing.

3. Original Video Management

Authorized users may upload and manage original short-form videos through the VideoFlow Publisher media library.

The platform may display video information such as:

• File name.
• Duration.
• Resolution.
• File size.
• Video preview.

4. Publishing Workflow

The standard publishing workflow is:

1. The user signs in to VideoFlow Publisher.

2. The user selects Connect TikTok Account.

3. The user completes TikTok OAuth authorization.

4. TikTok redirects the user back to VideoFlow Publisher.

5. The connected TikTok account name and profile image are displayed.

6. The user uploads or selects an original video.

7. The user selects the authorized TikTok account.

8. The user previews the video.

9. The user reviews or edits the caption.

10. The user reviews the available privacy and interaction settings.

11. The user explicitly confirms the publishing request.

12. VideoFlow Publisher submits the request through TikTok's official Content Posting API.

13. The publishing status is displayed to the user.

5. Publishing Settings

Before publication, VideoFlow Publisher may display:

• Connected TikTok account.
• Video preview.
• Caption.
• Privacy level.
• Comment setting.
• Duet setting.
• Stitch setting.
• Scheduled publishing time.

Available settings may depend on information returned by TikTok for the connected account.

6. User Confirmation

VideoFlow Publisher does not submit a new publishing request until the authorized user reviews the content and explicitly confirms the publishing action.

7. Publishing Status

After submission, VideoFlow Publisher may display statuses such as:

• Scheduled.
• Queued.
• Uploading.
• Processing.
• Published.
• Failed.
• Authorization required.

8. What VideoFlow Publisher Does Not Do

VideoFlow Publisher does not:

• Store TikTok account passwords.
• Connect accounts without user authorization.
• Create TikTok accounts.
• Automate likes.
• Automate follows.
• Automate comments.
• Automate direct messages.
• Automate shares or engagement.
• Scrape TikTok data.
• Use unofficial TikTok endpoints.
• Bypass TikTok OAuth.
• Bypass TikTok App Review.
• Circumvent TikTok rate limits or security controls.

9. Disconnecting TikTok

Users may disconnect a connected TikTok account from the account management interface.

Users may also revoke application access through TikTok's authorization controls where available.
